In the spirit of having a good time on the lake, a few friends decided in the summer of 2018 to meet near the dam and have a day of floating fun. Word quickly spread, and the event took off like wildfire! The turnout was phenomenal, with everyone having a blast. It was then decided to make this an annual festival—The Dam Floatilla was born!

No one predicted that it would have turned into what it is today. Every year, we continue to grow our dream of bringing a day of live music and floating fun to the waters of Lake Greenwood for all to enjoy.
